Alpine mountains, Giro d’Italia, and the De Rosa bicycle factory — we have combined all of this and more in a new and exciting four-day cycling journey through Italy, where the country’s beauty will be on full display. The route will take the participants through beautiful mountain passes and valleys, and along rivers and lake shores.
This will be a unique journey where you can visit the De Rosa bicycle factory and see the mountain stage of the Giro d’Italia in person. Direct flights, comfortable accommodations, planned routes, and a balanced travel program will make this cycling journey an unforgettable adventure.
The De Rosa bicycle factory is a place where true masters of engineering and design create real works of art — bicycles with their very DNA encoded with speed. The latest technologies and Pininfarina design can be seen in the factory, with the scent of carbon and titanium permeating the air. Learn about the history of one of the most prolific bicycle manufacturers in Italy, discover how the bicycles of world champion Roman Vainšteins and legends like Eddy Merckx's bicycles were born, and experience it all firsthand.
During the journey, we will cover an average of 120 kilometres each day. This ride will be more enjoyable with light luggage and a suitable bicycle, in the case of this journey — a road bike, so it is recommended to prepare accordingly. The route will feature both more mountainous roads and paths with easier-to-ride-terrain, totalling approximately 450 kilometres and more than 5000 meters of elevation gain.
